Gábor and Borbála receive long awaited news: they can adopt Zolika (12), but they have to wait with contacting him. However, Borbala decides to send encouraging letters to him. Zolika and Dori plan to start a life together after leaving the orphanage. Feri fancies Dori so he harasses Zolika. Encouraged by the letters Zolika stands up against Feri. Feri’s gang take revenge and also find the letters. When Zolika tells Dori about the parents and his plan to take her with him Dori turns her back. While still shocked by her reaction Zolika receives a letter revealing that Feri wrote all letters as a prank. Zolika loses his mind. When he sees Feri on Dori’s side he stabs him with a fork and jumps out of the window. When Gabor and Borbala arrive for him, before they hear the sad news they receive the last and only letter from Zolika including his last wish…
